PORTFOLIO

The purpose of coordination is to save time and money by building in digital space before building in the real world. There should not be any major surprises in modern building. A CONSTRUCTABLE model, not a CLASH FREE model is the result. Utilities need to do more than miss each other. The trades need to be able to actually install an element in the location determined by coordination. Facilities personal need to have suitable access.  It is essential that the voice of Owners, Facilities Managers, Superintendants, trade professionals and MEP Coordinators are taken into consideration.

Tracking Relocation of 2,600 Microprocessing tools using Bluebeam and iPads

Alex Tanguay Describes how he used Bluebeam, an iPad and the mark up columns feature of Bluebeam to track relocation and re installation of 2600 micro processing tools. No cut sheets or equipment information were given by the client. Instead, iPads were used to conduct a field investigation to document equipment utility & anchorage locations for installation at the new facility.
